‘Botanics’ art prints (& discount!) from Ross & Brown

'Botanics' art prints (& discount!) from Ross & Brown | These Four Walls

As you might have gathered from my ‘Urban Jungle Bloggers’ posts, I love having plants around the house. I also love having lots of interesting art on display, so when the two come together I’m a very happy lady.

Some of my favourite plant-related artwork to date is the ‘Botanics’ series of prints by Dutch graphic designer and watercolour artist Maaike Koster, supplied by My Deer Art. It’s now available from UK-based homeware website Ross & Brown, and to celebrate they’ve kindly offered a 20% discount across their entire product range to readers of These Four Walls.

The limited-edition prints depict ferns, cheese plants and more, and they look fantastic grouped together. They’re all signed and hand-numbered by the artist, and are available in various sizes. I adore their attention to detail, and the way subtle brush strokes and colour variations have been used to highlight the different textures of each plant.

The ‘Botanics’ artworks are just some of the beautiful Scandinavian-inspired pieces stocked by Ross & Brown, which was founded by design-industry professionals Peter Ross and Gary Brown. The collection encompasses lighting, furniture and home accessories from some of my favourite brands, including Normann Copenhagen, House Doctor and Bloomingville.

I now have this design in three different colourways around the house, and this is definitely my favourite to date!

A few weeks ago I travelled to Drammen in Norway f A few weeks ago I travelled to Drammen in Norway for the big project I'm working on (more on that soon), and while I was there I had a look around @askogeng's workshop. I've been a fan of their sustainable bamboo kitchens and furniture for a long time, so this was a real treat. And the space itself is full of the time-worn textures and beautiful details that always catch my eye.

Is it just me, or are slightly droopy flowers the Is it just me, or are slightly droopy flowers the most elegant? Anyway, these are butterfly ranunculus - always a favourite. I couldn't resist the lovely soft peach ones - such a pretty colour for spring.

If you've seen my Stories, you'll know we've had a stressful Sunday and Monday thanks to a poorly cat and some big house news. At least it's only a four-day week!
