As you might have gathered from my ‘Urban Jungle Bloggers’ posts, I love having plants around the house. I also love having lots of interesting art on display, so when the two come together I’m a very happy lady.
Some of my favourite plant-related artwork to date is the ‘Botanics’ series of prints by Dutch graphic designer and watercolour artist Maaike Koster, supplied by My Deer Art. The limited-edition prints depict ferns, cheese plants and more, and they look fantastic grouped together. They’re all signed and hand-numbered by the artist, and are available in various sizes. I adore their attention to detail, and the way subtle brush strokes and colour variations have been used to highlight the different textures of each plant.
