This Saturday is going to be a busy one for me as I’m off to London for the annual Blogtacular conference. I’m very excited about meeting inspirational bloggers from across the UK and beyond, and the date conveniently falls on the only clear weekend in a jam-packed month (I’ve just returned from Copenhagen and fly off to Oslo next week – more on those trips to follow soon). With so much going on, . . .
Profile | Openhouse
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win copies of the first two issues of Openhouse in a giveaway run by the lovely Lou of Littlegreenshed. It’s safe to say that I fell in love with this wonderful magazine as soon as I turned the cover: published twice a year, it features people across the world who open their homes to others for various reasons, and it’s produced by two Barcelona-based . . .
Home tour | A dark, dramatic house in Bristol
I blogged last month about the look book of stylish Bristol homes that I’ve put together with independent estate agents Elephant, and now I want to share a peek inside one of the properties featured. The Elephant & These Four Walls look book
It’s no secret that I love Bristol, the place which I’ve called home ever since moving here to start university in 2001. It’s a city like no other – edgy yet elegant, cosmopolitan yet laid-back, forward-thinking yet firmly rooted in its past, and with a creative, independent streak that has spawned everything from Brunel’s industrial icons to Banksy’s street art. Call me biased, but for me it’s . . .
Home tour | A dash of bohemia in Copenhagen
I want to kick off the week (a little belatedly, due to the UK Bank Holiday yesterday) by sharing some photos of a beautiful Copenhagen apartment which I stumbled across on Danish website Bo Bedre. I’m always a sucker for Nordic interiors, but what I love most about this scheme is the way owner Signe Toft (a lawyer who clearly has an eye for style) has seamlessly mixed Scandinavian minimalism . . .
