I was originally planning to include the latest launches from Danish brand NORR11 in my round-up from the Stockholm Furniture Fair, but as soon as I saw the press images I knew they had to have a post of their own! Created by stylist Pernille Vest and photographer Heidi Lerkenfeldt, they were shot at the J.F. Willumsen Museum in Frederikssund, north of Copenhagen . . .

The largest trade show in the Nordic design world, it brings together more than 700 brands . . .
The Archive – a showcase of Japanese & Scandinavian design
I have another inspiring exhibition from Stockholm Design Week to share with you today, this time from Japanese brand Ariake. Each year it teams up with like-minded companies to take over a historic location somewhere in the city, and its previous efforts - 'A Quiet Reflection' and 'The Phoenix Palace' - were highlights of Design Weeks 2018 and 2019 . . .

What a busy month of travel I've had. I'd barely landed back from my trip to Finnish Lapland before I was off again, this time to Stockholm for its annual Design Week. I visit every year if I can and it's always inspiring, with more than 400 exhibitions and events across the city, as well as the huge Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair taking place on its outskirts . . .

Happy Monday everyone! I'm currently on my way to Stockholm for the city's annual Furniture Fair - always a great opportunity to soak up lots of Nordic design inspiration. ![[AD - press stay] We had a wonderful couple of days at @treehouse.retreats on the Cowdray Estate in the South Downs National Park earlier this week. There's always something special about staying in a beautifully designed woodland hideaway, but particularly so during this autumn-winter cusp when the weather can change from golden sunshine to magical snow flurries and back again.
