How does everyone feel about travelling at the moment, given the ongoing restrictions and quarantine rules? I'm still nervous about it, but that hasn't stopped me browsing the net and dreaming about where I'll go as soon as I feel a bit more confident. And my latest find, Casa na Terra in Portugal's beautiful Alentejo region, is certainly fuelling my wanderlust . . .
Ferm Living’s new showroom & concept store
Today I'm taking you on a virtual trip to Copenhagen, where one of my favourite Danish brands, Ferm Living, has just opened the doors to its brand-new showroom and concept store. They were actually released earlier this year to showcase the Danish brand's spring-summer 2020 collection, but I've been saving them until I needed a dose of escapism . . .
ALIUM – a brand-new Copenhagen gallery
Travel might be out of the question for most of us at the moment, but today I want to share some inspiration for when we can start exploring again - a brand-new Copenhagen gallery that blurs the lines between art, design and interiors. Called ALIUM, it's located in a historic building next to Frederiksberg town hall . . .
Exploring Finnish Lapland in winter
[Advertisement - this post is based on a press trip, but all words and opinions are my own] Few places have captured my heart the way Finnish Lapland did. I loved the vast skies and the fresh Arctic air (the cleanest in the world, apparently). I loved the frozen lakes and the silent forests, with their towering pine trees and spruces twisted into otherworldly shapes under the weight of snow . . .
