We have one large desk between us and often swap sides based on what we're doing – if I’m photo-editing, I don’t like facing the glare of the window, whereas Chris likes to sit away from the door when he’s on video calls so that I can come and go without getting in the way. Being able to zip around on @carlhansenandson's beautiful and lightweight CH621 swivel chair makes things that little bit easier, and the wheels run smoothly over both our hardwood floor and woven rug. It's the kind of chair that works with all sorts of decor styles, too - I love the contrast between its sleek mid-century aesthetic and the rustic timber of our desk. #homeofficeinspo #deskstyling #minimalisthomedecor #rusticminimalism #simplehomestyle

[AD - paid partnership] A peek at our new home off [AD - paid partnership] A peek at our new home office, complete with @carlhansenandson's CH621 swivel chair, which I've been lucky enough to test out over the past couple of weeks. It was designed by Hans J. Wegner (of Wishbone chair fame) all the way back in 1948, but you'd never know it. It's the perfect balance of form, function and ergonomics, and I love the timeless aesthetic. There's a hint of industrial style about it, but it's also lightweight and elegant - and it fits beautifully into the rustic-minimalist interiors we're going for in our little cottage.
