I recently stumbled across a new collection of beautiful 3D paper Christmas decorations from Scandinavian homeware company Fabulous Goose, and I couldn’t resist sharing a few photos.
The result of a collaboration between Fabulous Goose founder Valentina Albæk and Danish paper artist Theresa Jessing, the range adds a contemporary twist to timeless Christmas shapes. There are fir trees, pine cones and mistletoe in a variety of colours and sizes, all available as flat-packed pre-cut kits which take less than 15 minutes to assemble. They look fantastic hung in clusters from windows, ceilings and branches, or grouped together as table centrepieces.
The kits are made in Denmark from environmentally certified paper and available for international delivery. Everything you need is included (you don’t even require scissors) and prices start at €22.50, which is pretty good value considering the decorations can be folded away and reused year after year.
Just head over to Fabulous Goose to browse the full collection.

These are gorgeous decorations for Christmas. They’re such a fresh and modern take on classic decorations, yet still maintain a very festive seasonal feel. They work in so well with the crisp white and neutral colour scheme of the room too!

They’re wonderful aren’t they? Contemporary yet timeless. I’d love to treat myself to a cluster for a window or table!

Thanks Katie, and congratulations on your new house! I don’t know of anyone who focuses solely on new builds off the top of my head, but I’ll keep thinking. You might find this book useful – it has sections on new builds and adding personality:https://www.laurenceking.com/product/my-bedroom-is-an-office/. I’m also in the middle of writing an ebook about finding your style and creating a home you love, which you might find helpful once it’s published x
