This month’s Instagram inspiration comes from UK-based Belgian photographer Emilie Van Camp (@emilievancamp), whose images are beautifully striking in their simplicity. I’ve been following her feed for a while now, and I love her clean, calm aesthetic and the way she combines travel adventures with evocative little snippets of daily life – everything from an umbrella resting by a doorway to . . .
Profile | In The Window
Every object tells a story, and one of the things I love most about blogging is uncovering the inspiration and creative processes behind great design; in fact, it’s something I ask every maker, retailer and Instagrammer featured on these pages. Still, I couldn't resist sharing a few photos of the flowers on their own, as . . .
Home tour | A monochrome Swedish apartment
For my latest home-tour post, I couldn’t resist sharing another beautiful Scandinavian apartment that has recently caught my eye. This striking home sits in a turn-of-the-century building in the Swedish city of Gothenburg and is decorated almost entirely in shades of off-white, black and grey. Such a limited palette would make many spaces look cold, but the huge variety of textures and patterns . . .
