Home tour | A minimalist Japandi apartment in Stockholm

Home tour - a minimalist Japandi apartment in Stockholm | These Four Walls blog

I'm always drawn to interiors that are simple and pared back, yet also cosy and inviting - and this Stockholm apartment is another wonderful example. It's also a great illustration of 'Japandi' style, which blends design influences from Scandinavia and Japan to create schemes that are minimalist, functional and intentional, with an appealing mix of natural materials and clean lines . . .

Menu launches a new collection of decorative objects by Colin King | These Four Walls blog

Today I'm sharing some exciting news from Menu, which has teamed up with renowned New York stylist Colin King to launch a brand-new collection of decorative pieces. It follows on from the success of the bold and highly sculptural 'Interconnect' candleholder that he designed for the Danish brand last year, and I have to say the whole thing looks absolutely stunning . . .

Eight years ago today. Carousel posts didn't exist Eight years ago today. Carousel posts didn't exist then so I'm using our anniversary as an excuse to share some of my favourite wedding photos.

I have so many happy memories from the day, but what I remember the most is all the laughter. And the funniest best men's (Chris had four!) speech I've ever heard. I wish we'd had a videographer just to capture that.

Anyway, thanks @small_round_things for the last eight years - and for the 13 before we actually got around to tying the knot!

I now have this design in three different colourways around the house, and this is definitely my favourite to date!

I've been a fan of their sustainable bamboo kitchens and furniture for a long time, so this was a real treat. And the space itself is full of the time-worn textures and beautiful details that always catch my eye.
