It's one of my favourite ways to unwind at the weekend, and it's a treat I'm indulging in on a daily basis at the moment as I'm taking a brief summer break from work. So, it only seemed appropriate to make it the focus of this latest instalment of 'The Edit' - my monthly series sharing a curated selection of buys to help you make the most of . . .

The design classics of the future | These Four Walls blog

[Advertisement – this is a paid collaboration with Nest.co.uk, but all words and opinions are my own] Last year I teamed up with independent retailer Nest.co.uk to explore why you should always buy authentic design over cheap but poor-quality replicas, and I delved into the stories, craftsmanship and innovations that make some of the most iconic and often-copied pieces so special. Today . . .

The Fine Bedding Company's temperature-control bedding - review + giveaway | These Four Walls blog

[Advertisement - this is a paid partnership with The Fine Bedding Company. All words and opinions are my own] I've always found it difficult to control my body temperature at night, and it's only got trickier as I've reached my late 30s. In winter, I go to bed freezing, hunker down under the duvet and wake up a few hours later feeling hot and bothered; in summer I struggle to cool down . . .

The Vipp Farmhouse – a rustic-contemporary Danish retreat

July 16, 2021

The Vipp Farmhouse - a rustic-contemporary holiday rental deep in the Danish countryside | These Four Walls blog

Fancy a bit of escapism to end the week? I certainly do, so let me introduce you to the Vipp Farmhouse - the fourth addition to the Danish design brand's collection of bookable accommodation (you can see the others here, here and here) and an idyllic slice of rural Scandinavian life. Located on the island of Lolland, a two-hour drive south of Copenhagen, it's surrounded by forests and rolling . . .

Eight years ago today. Carousel posts didn't exist Eight years ago today. Carousel posts didn't exist then so I'm using our anniversary as an excuse to share some of my favourite wedding photos.

I have so many happy memories from the day, but what I remember the most is all the laughter. And the funniest best men's (Chris had four!) speech I've ever heard. I wish we'd had a videographer just to capture that.

Anyway, thanks @small_round_things for the last eight years - and for the 13 before we actually got around to tying the knot!

7. Keeping drooping spring blooms going for as long as possible

I now have this design in three different colourways around the house, and this is definitely my favourite to date!

A few weeks ago I travelled to Drammen in Norway f A few weeks ago I travelled to Drammen in Norway for the big project I'm working on (more on that soon), and while I was there I had a look around @askogeng's workshop. I've been a fan of their sustainable bamboo kitchens and furniture for a long time, so this was a real treat. And the space itself is full of the time-worn textures and beautiful details that always catch my eye.
