Instagram is awash with envy-inducing interiors and over the years it's become one of my go-to sources of inspiration for minimalist design. I thought it was time I shared a few of my favourite feeds, so scroll down to see 10 Instagrammers who are well worth following if you're also drawn to simple, Scandinavian-influenced décor and calming colours. Home tour | A minimalist house by a Norwegian lake
It’s time for my first home-tour post of 2018, and I couldn’t resist kicking off with the Gjøvik House - another creation from one of my favourite design studios, Copenhagen-based Norm Architects. Located an hour north of Oslo, on a wooded hillside overlooking Lake Mjøsa, this minimalist abode is formed from a cluster of six overlapping cubes of different sizes. I'll be back in early January with more design and travel inspiration, . . .
Home tour | A stylish farmhouse rental in Wales
This wonderfully cosy Welsh farmhouse seemed like the ideal choice for my last home tour of 2017. Available to rent for short breaks and holidays, it forms part of Fforest – a collection of teepees, bell tents, eco-domes and cabins hidden among wild meadows and ancient woodland, just a few miles from the coastal town of Cardigan. I was lucky enough to have a peek inside when I spent three nights . . .
