Today’s dose of interiors inspiration comes from Danish designer Tine Kjeldsen of Tine K Home. She’s just released details of her spring-summer 2017 collection, and it’s a real beauty.
Entitled ‘Boho’, it was inspired by the idea of slowing down, enjoying everyday life and focusing on the things which really matter – a theme that’s becoming ever more popular in this turbulent world of ours, and which has formed the basis of quite a few new-season ranges this year.
Like Tine’s previous collection, ‘Boho’ combines Nordic minimalism with bohemian touches, and is designed to blend into all kinds of settings, from Mediterranean farmhouses to Scandinavian apartments. It features lots of natural materials such as rattan and bamboo, as well as softly crumpled linen and crushed velvet. My eye was instantly drawn to the woven light shades, which look fantastic clustered over tables or sitting areas, and the monochrome cushions decorated with Moroccan-style pompoms. There’s also a new cutlery range with a beautiful pewter-like finish, which I’m coveting for our dinner table.
The press images for the collection were styled and shot at La Granja, a rustic members-only retreat run by Design Hotels, which is hidden among pine trees and rolling fields in rural Ibiza. I guarantee they will have you longing for relaxed summer days and alfresco meals under the sun…
