I’ve covered bedrooms, lounges, bathrooms and more, so I thought it was about time I picked a kitchen for my monthly ‘Room Envy’ post.
There are so many wonderful ideas in this beautiful space, which sits in an airy, light-filled Stockholm apartment. The dark units mix classic lines with a contemporary matt finish, and they’re offset by sparkling Carrara marble counters. The striking brass handles make the whole scheme pop and are very on trend; I think a brass tap would have made a fantastic addition, but the chrome version looks snazzy too. There’s also a touch of industrial style thanks to the bare-bulb pendant lights, which have been cleverly wrapped around a suspended bar.
The look is finished off with simple white tiling and a few understated accessories, including potted plants (a must in any kitchen in my book!). As for the bare bones of the building, the pale floorboards and white walls provide the perfect blank canvas for such an eye-catching scheme.
If you like the look of this kitchen, you might also be taken with the one in this Danish home.
