[AD - paid partnership] A peek at our new home off [AD - paid partnership] A peek at our new home office, complete with @carlhansenandson's CH621 swivel chair, which I've been lucky enough to test out over the past couple of weeks. It was designed by Hans J. Wegner (of Wishbone chair fame) all the way back in 1948, but you'd never know it. It's the perfect balance of form, function and ergonomics, and I love the timeless aesthetic. There's a hint of industrial style about it, but it's also lightweight and elegant - and it fits beautifully into the rustic-minimalist interiors we're going for in our little cottage. From a blustery, atmospheric weekend on the Northu From a blustery, atmospheric weekend on the Northumberland coast, around this time last year. We were there for a friend's birthday celebration, and it's a beautiful place - well worth the looooong drive from the West Country. It was during that weekend that Chris and I realised just how much we enjoyed being out of the city and decided to give our longed-for move to the countryside a go.
