The Edit | Breakfast in bed

Is there anything better than a lazy breakfast in bed? It’s one of my favourite ways to unwind at the weekend, and it’s a treat I’m indulging in on a daily basis at the moment as I’m taking a brief summer break from work. So, it only seemed appropriate to make it the focus of this latest instalment of ‘The Edit’ – my monthly series sharing a curated selection of buys to help you make the most of simple, relaxed moments at home and beyond.

For me, the perfect breakfast in bed involves a pot of freshly brewed coffee, a plate of hot buttered toast (preferably made using my Dad’s delicious home-baked bread), something inspiring to read, a softly flickering candle with a relaxing scent, and a cat snoozing by my feet.
