Autumn & winter 2016 collection from Broste Copenhagen

Happy Monday all! I’m kick-starting the week by sharing a peek at the latest collection from one of my favourite Danish homeware brands, Broste Copenhagen.

For autumn-winter 2016, Broste has merged clean Nordic lines with Boho touches, including macrame wall hangings, rattan daybeds and shaggy cushions. The range is perfect for the colder months, with lots of snuggly textures and rich, nature-inspired hues (russet red, forest green, peacock blue) that provide an easy way to update an existing scheme. They’re offset by eye-catching brass, marble and concrete accents, together with subtle ethnic references in prints and patterns.

The new collection also includes a selection of ‘Broste Classics’ – timeless designs from across the company’s 60-year history, relaunched as everyday essentials which will last for decades to come. As I’m such a fan of muted shades and simple shapes, these are perhaps my favourite items – I particularly love the matt black ‘Hune’ cutlery and the mottled grey ‘Nordic Sea’ ceramics.
