Christmas inspiration with paper baubles

I promise I won’t be posting Christmas content alone this month, but as lots of people will be starting to decorate their homes over the next few days I wanted to sneak in a little bit more festive inspiration before turning back to other topics.

This time around I’m using beautiful paper baubles from Rose & Grey. I already had a few of them, which I used to decorate my hallway last year, but I’ve since extended my collection with a variety of shapes in beige, cream, grey and blush pink – a combination that I love, and that works brilliantly with the soft grey and off-white walls in my home. They come flat, so you just need to fold them out carefully and fasten them together with the magnets buried in the paper. I’m going to hang most of mine on the Christmas tree in our living room, but I’ve had fun creating festive displays for other spaces with vases and a few fir branches, too.

The decorations also look good clustered on shelves and fireplaces, or placed in bowls with pine cones to form a striking table centrepiece. I’m even planning to use them as inspiration for gift-wrapping, echoing the colour palette with simple white paper, natural twine and velvet ribbon.
