Finding your interiors personality with Sandberg

Today I want to share a lovely new concept from Swedish company Sandberg, which produces beautifully crafted wallpapers and accessories.

For its spring-summer 2016 trend report, Sandberg has chosen not to present a vast collection of new designs, but to devise a tool to help people discover their interiors personality.  The aim is to encourage responsible consumption by enabling customers to create beautiful, sustainable looks that last over time, rather than slavishly copying the latest fashions. It’s a wonderful idea, and one that I found instantly appealing – I do keep an eye on trends, but I think it’s much more important to forge a home which reflects your own character and lifestyle.

There are four personality types, with a quiz to determine which applies to you; there are also carefully selected ranges of wallpapers designed to appeal to each one.  I turned out to be a Spiritualist – a seeker of peace and harmony, a minimalist, and a lover of soft shades and calm patterns; pretty much spot on, I reckon!

The other personality types are:

The Explorer, who loves to discover new things and whose home is full of stories from faraway lands or past adventures…

The Gardener, an optimist with a keen interest in nature, whose home reflects the changing seasons…

And the Collector, who finds beauty in the forgotten and neglected, and whose home is a personal dreamland packed with history and memories.
