Home tour | A dash of bohemia in Copenhagen

I want to kick off the week (a little belatedly, due to the UK Bank Holiday yesterday) by sharing some photos of a beautiful Copenhagen apartment which I stumbled across on Danish website Bo Bedre.

I’m always a sucker for Nordic interiors, but what I love most about this scheme is the way owner Signe Toft (a lawyer who clearly has an eye for style) has seamlessly mixed Scandinavian minimalism with bohemian dashes. By pairing Danish design classics (a Børge Mogensen sofa, a Poul Kjærholm marble table) with flea-market finds, she’s created a look that somehow manages to be both sleek and charmingly shabby.

I also adore the soft blues, greys and greens that are echoed throughout the apartment. The subtle shades used on the walls (Farrow & Ball’s ‘Skimming Stone’, ‘Lamp Room Grey’ and ‘Cornforth White’) add a touch of colour without detracting from the period features or the airy feel, and provide a brilliant backdrop for Signe’s collection of artwork. What’s more, there’s some very clever storage to keep the whole place looking clutter-free.
