Even if you haven’t heard the name Cooee Design before, you’ll most likely recognise its products from Pinterest and magazines (and indeed many of the home tours featured right here on These Four Walls). Founded by designer and stylist Catrine Åberg, the Swedish brand makes a beautiful collection of vases, candleholders and trays, as well as jewellery and prints. Its designs include some of my all-time favourite home accessories, so I was excited to discover that it’s launching several new items for spring 2017.

First up are glass versions of Cooee’s famous ‘Ball’ vase, which has become something of a modern icon in recent years. Hand-blown in Sweden, they come in a range of sizes and spring-like pastel shades, including dusty pink, ash, soft green and sand; there’s a simple but striking clear-glass option, too. They look fantastic grouped together in clusters, particularly with a few sprigs of seasonal blossom.

Cooee has also released three new colours for the original porcelain ‘Ball’ vase. The new shades – dark green, mint and citrus – have the same matte yet silky surface as the vast spectrum of existing colours, and are bang on trend for 2017.

All the new designs will be available from February, so keep an eye on Cooee’s website for details. In the meantime, you can buy a selection of Cooee vases and trays from my shop.
