Spring table styling from House Doctor

To mark the first day of March, I wanted to share a bit of spring styling inspiration from Danish homeware brand House Doctor, which has just released its latest catalogue.

These images show pieces from House Doctor’s tableware range, and I was instantly drawn to the calmness and simplicity on display. The collection was inspired by the idea of slowing down and savouring every moment – from that first sip of steaming coffee when you wake, to lazy evening meals with family and friends. It has a relaxed, organic look, with irregular shapes, mottled textures and natural imperfections. I particularly love the white glazed mug, with its curved form that fits snugly in your hand, and the matte grey plates and bowls, designed to resemble stone.

Here, the collection is paired with nothing more than neutral table linens, black and brass cutlery, and vases containing a few seasonal flowers. A perfect example of new-season minimalism for you to enjoy…

  1. Some beautiful house decor inspiration. The neutrals and rustic materials create a very earthy and fresh look, which is very modern and won’t date quickly.
